And thank you for coming to the Ditto Original Gator Tail online ordering site!
WELCOME
When we say Original Gator Tail, we mean it! We are the actual Ditto family in Palatka, FL that made the worms that caught all those fish and won all those tournaments and money back in the '80s & '90s.
OUR FLAGSHIP PRODUCT: THE DITTO ORIGINAL GATORTAIL
Our OGT (Original Gator Tail) still has the same overall profile: this is the 5" size we called the Baby Gatortail in the '80s but actually stretches out to about 6" when swimming. We've upgraded with some minor tweaks to make it better than ever. A slightly larger body size allows more hook versatility, and the tail has more detail and consistency which gives improved action for all techniques and conditions.
That great aggressive swimming tail action was always the secret of the OGT and set it apart from anything else available. Give it a try in fresh, brackish or saltwater for your favorite species of fish and you will agree: the Original Ditto Gator Tail is back and better than ever!
5" long "at rest." About 6" when swimming
THE DITTO BABY EEL: A VERSATILE, FISH CATCHING MACHINE!
The Ditto Baby Eel was alway a proven fish catcher with it's flowing, wide action. It presents a more subtle, finesse type swimming action than the Gatortail that just gets bit! We used to describe the Baby Eel as our "limit catcher." Can be used for fresh, brackish and salt water for many different species. Techniques include Texas rig, Carolina Rig, dropshot, and for all types of jigs trailers.
THE DITTO 3"FIRECLAW CRAWFISH: THE WAIT IS OVER!
$7 Snax samplers with FREE SHIPPING: Gatortails, Baby Eels, Fireclaws.
After nearly 30 years of being out of production, the 3" Ditto Fireclaw Crawfish is back. Originally it was a collaboration with Guido Hibdon and his Guido Bug. The Fireclaw was introduced for jig and trailer use and was very popular on skirted jigs. After some time, the Fireclaw evolved into a fantastic flipping bait in the heavy vegetation mats found in Florida and other areas, Flippers loved its compact size that helped it punch through the heaviest junk. The short size also meant less missed fish because the whole bait was essentially a hook with claws and when bass bit the bait, everything was in their mouth! We remember our dad, Bobby, commenting that he thought his strikes were more aggressive on this lure.
OOPSIES! 20 (or more) worms for $10: Gatortails, Baby Eels, Fireclaws
